your rheumatology expertise
wins over the specialists.

The show at a glance

The major congress
of French rheumatology.

At the SFR congress, rheumatology research and the people behind it come together: rheumatologists, researchers, laboratories and learned societies. Your stand has to hold its own in a dense scientific gathering, where people come for the data that advances patient care. The congress format, this specialist audience and the latest research frame your setup.

The congress

Three days, all of French rheumatology.

Organised by the Société Française de Rhumatologie, the SFR congress brings the profession together every December at the Paris Convention Centre, Porte de Versailles. The 2026 edition, the 39th, will be held from 13 to 15 December.

  • Paris Convention Center (Hall 7.3)
  • Annual · next edition 13–15 Dec 2026
  • Sessions, papers and posters
The audience

Rheumatologists and researchers.

Rheumatologists in hospital and private practice, residents, researchers and allied health professionals: an international scientific audience, there to compare practices and evaluate tomorrow's treatments.

  • 3,000+ participants each year
  • 40+ countries represented
  • A 100% professional audience
The context

Biotherapies, immunology and chronic pain.

Rheumatology is advancing on several fronts: biotherapies, inflammatory diseases, immunology, chronic pain. Your stand must show what you contribute to these developments, not just claim it.

  • Biotherapies & inflammatory diseases
  • Immunology & real-world data
  • Chronic pain & patient care
The congress in figures

An event
of international scale.

Each year, the SFR congress brings together more than 3,000 participants from 40 countries, over three days. At an event of this scale, your stand must establish your scientific credibility from the outset.

A benchmark congress. The French Congress of Rheumatology brings together more than 3,000 participants from 40+ countries each year (SFR reference figures, White Paper on French Rheumatology 2025). The 38th edition was held from 14 to 16 December 2025; the 39th will take place from 13 to 15 December 2026, at the Paris Convention Center (Porte de Versailles).

Frequently asked questions

You're probably wondering…

At a research congress like the SFR, the challenge is often to explain a mechanism of action or a new therapeutic pathway. We translate these concepts into scenography: educational visuals, interactive features, journeys that tell the story of the treatment. The Idorsia stand was designed to make its therapeutic innovation tangible.

More and more pharmaceutical companies are putting the patient at the centre. We build this content into the stand: testimonial areas, real-world data brought to life, support materials. The UCB stand was designed around this patient-centred approach, combining scientific rigour and human warmth.

A treatment protocol has to be understood at a glance on a stand. We structure the information with clear visuals and a strong visual hierarchy, so practitioners grasp the essentials effortlessly. The Alfasigma stand, for instance, presents its pain management solutions in a way that is easy to take in.

The SFR congress welcomes participants from more than 40 countries. We design stands that read beyond language: strong visual signage, pictograms, bilingual content when useful, and a brand identity that speaks to everyone. What matters is that an international visitor immediately understands who you are and what you bring.
